I got my Lumix FZ-20 quite recently
so far no major complaints except for the inability to autofocus well in lowlight(gotta use lower shutter speeds which even the MIS couldn't help - have to use a tripod or table/car top for support)
and above these problems,it is by far the best camera I had-so far.

| overall is it an ok camera for me as a beginner. I am very quickly getting frustrated with it though and feel like i have outgrown it. It is making strange grinding noises when i use the zoom and the batteries go flat real quick. (yes i have bought more). :o). |

| Minolta Z1. purple fringing on bright spots and sometime sahve to manually focus in low light. |

No ISO indicator in the viewfinder. I'm always forgetting to reset it!

Fuji s7000...
it does not take multiple exposures using the timer.
it has only iso 200, 400, & 800.
the maximum exposure is 15 seconds.
the maximum aperture is f 8.0.
But, for less that $500, I am happy:)

Besides been a regular P&S, I love my W1!
The only thing I dislike is the zoom. 3x optical only! I even turned off my digital (sux).
I can take up too 122 photos on a single 256mb MS Pro, with full resolution (5mp).
Exposure is good (30s tops on manual). Goes from F2.8 to F10 (at full zoom). Well, I love it!
Tiny little one and extremelly well built!

| The fact that it is missing a whole bunch of manual settings, though I can't really complaine all that much since it is a $150 P&S (you get what you pay for I guess) |

Oh..sorry....no it doesn't....continuous and bracket OK, but not multiple. Mea Culpa.

the only thing i would have wanted to see is a M/S/C focus selector instead of the M/AF switch (if you know what i mean)...
other than that i love it. |

On the D70, it's the fact that you have to reset the self-timer for each use. Slows me up a bit. If I'm wrong please advise. I hear the remotes are impossible to come by. BH told me there was a long waiting list. Crazy.
On my Fuji Finepix S5000 the function dial moves if you look at it too hard. Great camera, MAJOR flaw. I assume they fixed that with the improved versions? |

On the D70,
- having to user the menus to switch between single and continuous autofocus - why no shortcut?!?!
- why isn't auto one of the ISO available when using the button-command dial combo.
- no mirror lockup is also a bit of a pain.
Other than that, I love it. |

Macro!!.. i have problems with the focus. its a bit difficult to make a good macro shot.
I love my ZOOM (x10)
