We'd like to set up a 'link to us' section on the site, and we've got a banner or two lying around ... but I wanted to see if anyone here wanted to put a banner or two together. Any standardish banner sizes will do (480x60, 234x60, 88x31, 120x90, 120x60, 125x125, etc.) You're welcome to use images from the site (one of the few rights we reserved in the rules).
On this note... if any of you graphic artists want to have your work plastered here for thousands to see, we could use a new logo ;)

hey Drew .. I''m pretty new to this site .. but if you want to ... drop me an email .. once you get the new logo done .. or i can even use your older one ... if you want any vinyl decals made .. let me know - i can do that too ... I went to school for graphic design .. so i love playin around :o)

Drew,
Could you be more specific. What elements must be in the banner, max file size. As for the logo, what colour, and again which elements must be incorporated in the logo (ie. must it contain, " a digital photography contest")
Where do we post/send them to for review?

I've reconsidered my snippy comment. Simply: any banner oozing from the creative juices spilled regularly on this site will certainly be captivating.

The banners we're looking for are strictly for our site users to use for their own sites, should they want to. We aren't planning any kind of advertising campaign or anything. File sizes.. reasonable. Anything or nothing may be incorporated into the banner.
For the logo.. we're looking for a very simple, vector-type logo that could easily be used for t-shirts or whatever in the future. i.e. simple lines and shapes. It can be representative or actually letters/words ... your call. Maybe we should have a logo challenge ;)

I like that mci...looks clean and neat. I'm using too many colors...more expensive to reproduce. Great job!

I would use 800 speed film so i could capture more pitchers of him drownin in a shorter amount of time.

They all look superb to me. what sizes are you using and what software?
Have a few ideas in the "in box" under "My Gallery".

I'm using PhotoShop and just messing around with different effects. Size is 480x60.
