I have seen people make little short movies out of photos; such as a time lapse of a flower over several hours or something of that nature. I understand the photographic technique involved, but what I don't get is how the movie is actually made. Can this be done in Photoshop? Any help or explainations are appreciated.

I don't normally tout MicroShaft products but MS Movie Maker is pretty good.
