What do you all think about this photo? So far I've gotten very positive comments about it at another forum. It was shot in color {my camera doesn't shoot in B&W :(

oh yeah, what do you think of the frame? i'm not sure i like it. maybe the black border should be wider? Different color? i don't know...

| I like this very much, especially your composition which gives this a strikingly minimalist oriental feel. There also seems to be a real sense of movement from the angle of the leaf blades. The graininess and extreme contrast are not things that are to be found frequently at DPC. I'm sure you intended this 'distressed' effect, but it can be hard to avoid on low-end cameras like ours when you push your image in post-processing, particularly in B/W. Well done. Ben. |

| I always have a problem with shots with a harsh, white background. The basic concept is nice, but the result hurts my eyes. |
