Hi everyone. I only joined two days ago and love this site.I uploaded a few of my better photos. I would love to hear anyones' comments.

Hello fellow 7590 user!! I love your IRIS shot. Technically, I know that some would say there are some flaws, but that picture just really hits me. The contrasts, colors and overall effect I really enjoy. I will look forward to seeing more of your work.
Edit - the robin shot I also find interesting; he is "lost" i the tree and I like the overall energy. You got a very crisp shot with that, also. Many people would say that it is "busy", so it all depends on what you like. My tastes are a bit off the beaten path, so I am probably not the best to get an opinion from!

I have another question. I just got photoshop 2 days ago.I am having a terrible time getting rid of " halos ". Please take a lookat my most recent addition and see if one of you can tell me what I'd doing wrong.

Hi Aub,

Your phots are good. I liked the night shot with the lightening but I felt it could be improved simply by getting rid of the car and the bottle. I was bored so I made a few alterations to it for you to consider.

looked again and ur "should've been triangle". i see what ur talking about. i too am having the same problem and i am not famiular with ur set up but i was told to check what my light metering was set on. i had mine on spot(center of photo). i changed it to multi-segment and havent noticed the "blown highlights" yet. i hope this helps some.
