The first photo session for my brother band. two of their musics are entering a us low budget movie, and I shoot some promotional photos for them.
It was the first time for me and them. So I think taken that in consideration their not so bad. But I had an issue with the reflector I used to give a reflected light (sunlight) to the photos. In the las two photos the reflector can be seen in the glasses of the musician.
So two things for everyone to comment: first the photos. Second regarding the reflector (75cm Lastolite). how can I reflect the sun withought seeing the reflector in the shoots? Can it be removed in PS?
Thank's for the help.

Nice work. I left a few comments on them. They have a nice feel.

Good choice of location. I like the reflection in the last one, though in the second-last one it looks too rough. Difficult, but possible, to photoshop out. |

I like the first one - the guy in the window - best. Both group shots look "cut off" on the bottom, particularly thedeadpoets5 where the guy at the bottom has his chin cut off. I like the tonality of that one better, but comparing these two in total, I think the one with them standing is better.

the first and third are my favourites. i think the shots overall came out well. To remove the glare the are two ways i can think off, first prob esaier is to burn the highlights then color them (eye dropper tool, then paint brush, mode set to color, play around with the opacity)... or you can try to clone the glasses back in using the other side or around the glare.

The images are pretty good. Better than what I could produce. However, the guy with no shirt stands out like a sore thumb. All the other band members are wearing shirts. The fact that he isn't wearing one hinders the photos. He just doesn't seem to fit in visually. I don't mean any disrespect by this, but it makes him look dorky.

Yes Beagleboy, you're right. I didn't bring the issu on to the photo session because they did choose each one their cloth, acordingly to the image they wanted to transmit. But I think it's an identity problem. He is the older one in the band and a new element of it, so I think he wanted to show himself a bit and don't be in the shadow of the other guys that know each other for years. But you are right. Next time I'll talk to them in advance to balance thins.

Their sunglasses are really "duh". But the shots are very good!
Good job........
