Okay guys and dolls, i am issuing the 2:1 comment challenge to - uh- myself- and anyone else who is game for the darkness challenge.
It seems everyone (except strikeslip :p) is getting some low votes, and few comments explaining them in the DARKNESS challenge.
So i will be leaving 2 comments for every one left on my pic (maybe that should be 1:2 challenge, i dunno my ratios bite).
I've got 7 so far and have made 2-3, so i'm off to make 12 comments.
It's win win, i swear!!

LOL, don't jinx me! Oh well, 6.1 isn't going to get anybody too near the top of the heap. I've been slack in voting and commenting lately, so I'm going to make as many comments as I can, but I have to vote on all entries first.

I've got only 3 comments.... saying it's nice and dark.
I thought the challenge was about darkness...????
The picture was rating at 5.7 at 100 votes it's now at 4.9
:-(
Hope people start to put some comments on my picture telling me what they like or dislike about the picture....

I'm trying to comment on the ones I gave a low score. I have to say there was quite a few pretty bad ones here.
Anyway I am now at 27 comments given to 0 recieved. |

I have commented on 17 in this challenge...and I've recieved 2 comments with a 5.15 score right now...wishing ppl would comment more on photos..and i still have more pictures to vote on so more comments are on the way.
I say we should all try harder to comment on ppl's photos.
Anyway, Good Luck ya'll in the challenge... |

This is my stat on voting so far
ou have rated 72 of 368 images (20%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 17 images (5%) in this challenge.
But now that I have even left comments like I am scoring the photo a 3, I am sure to get some angry PMs :D

Well, if I don't get any angry PM's this time I'll be surprised ;)
I figured that since I've no possibility to judge what others might consider darkness for them I'd just vote from the point of view of if *I* thought it a good picture or not. I then tried to give comments to the absolute stinkers. Which turns out to be really hard (at least to be constructive). How do you say 'It stinks' in a constructive way? ;)

I don't have a picture in the Darkness challenge, but I do have one in the Birds challenge, I have commented on 61 image in that challenge, but only recieved 6, that makes it 10:1.
and I think all my comments are constructive, pointers on what is wrong and what might be done to make the image better, I do not comment like "nice shot" or "I like your pic" maby it's a part of my comment but there are always some pointers following ;)

maybe yours is in my 6 pile waiting to be bumped up ;)
i'm trying to put up a lot, because i really had way to many 3 & 4 in this challenge. No bell curve for me!

I'm in! But I swear try to be helpful. The last moron that left me a comment has never even participated in a challenge and is telling me my photo does not meet the challenge. I swear when you all find out which one is mine you will see that not only does it clearly meet the challenge the 6 other commenters were impressed by how much it met the challenge. Be critical, but be helpful, please!

| My thoughts are that any score at 3 or less should get a comment. I make a habit of commenting on most of the images on the bottom and on the top. |

I WIN!(I think) I'm not even in this one, but I've left 64 comments.
Can you tell I'm looking for ways to avoid the work I have to do?
My goal was to be as constructive as possible.
I like this post because the comments I've gotten were very helpful and often encouraging.

I didn't enter this one either as my camera is terrible in anything other than perfect sunlight. However, I given more 9s and 8s than ever before and handed out my second 10 in my voting history. Most of the photos are incredible, My average vote cast is going to rise. Not a bad thing....I've tried to comment on as many as i could but there are many.

how very strange
i just got a comment that was blank. Not even a mm between the two divider lines.
I suspect some sneaky monky is trying to get me to post more comments!
but ha-ha i'm aready adhead of my 2:1 quota!

| This is my first challenge to enter, not a full member yet. I am just testing out the water. I don't feel that I CAN comment on anyones pictures or say anything critical (constructive) because I don't know anything yet. I have left some comments on how cool the pics were though. |
