Don't forget that there's a Under 14 Entrants category. So get the kids to shoot the pets too.

Contests are fun but you should that you are giving them rights to use your photos anywhere and for any length of time if you submit, no compensation and a relatively small prize.....see below pasted from the contest rules page. Just an entrar beware in case you are oopposed.

....By entering the contest, photographers agree to have their submitted photograph displayed on www.lexar.com without any fee or other form of compensation. Lexar will retain partial use of entries and reserves the right to publish all photographs and/or use them in any type of promotion or advertising including newsletter, display, website or promotional material without compensation to the photographer. In particular, but not by way of limitation, entrants agree that Lexar retains the right to store, display and archive entry photographs on any page at www.lexar.com. Images will be credited to the photographer named in the submission.

In the reply window choose the last icon above your message (large and small squares). Insert the picture id number "191474" (without the quotes) and select OK.

Entries from kids under 14. So if you have kids, they can enter this category.

Did anybody notice if it said that the cat/dog had to belong to you? I submitted a photo, but I no longer have the cat, she left home after two male cats showed up to claim residence on my porch. She came back once but disappeared again. So technically she is still my cat, I have tons of photos of her, I just don't know where she is right now.
