The time stamp is captured automatically by the camera and stored with EXIF data separately from the image. No need to have a time stamp in the image. |

Hi Carli,
When your photo is downloaded from the camera, it has EXIF information embedded in the file. This contains the date information. Once that file is edited at all, even resaved, that information changes. What we need is for you to keep your original, unedited file (make a copy to edit for the challenge) that contains the date information. The date doesn't actually have to be stamped on the photo, which is a different function.
