Well it's been a marathon sit at the computer........But I have finished commenting on 100% of the images. Hope I have made some helpful comments

The people with the high scores are undoubtedly keeping quiet. They probably just want to be humble.
ed: Oh, and if you've got a 6.5, you're doing pretty dang good, IMO

WoW this one is incredible. I kinda expected a reasonable score but I'm confused now. Ok some comments said that they thought it was a closeup of a plastic model ... Nope the real McCoy the real thing, the actual item, the last of the few. So I don't know, guess I'de better go back to my old Nikon point and shoot and never, never crop another photo again. Yup still smiling and sure I'll be back ... maybe with the Tools of the Trade in actual use ;).
4.5 and holding stong ... remeber a 4.5 earth quake is no laughing matter ;)

I too had a five minute photo.... the problem? I submitted the wrong one! Aaaaarrrgggh! Now i'm lucky to be above a four. I was at seven at one point (even for a wrong image). |

Ho man, the boo birds were out last night. You figure that your score is fairly stable after 150 votes. Last night my score went from 6.05 to 5.91. Ouch!

Ditto here. My score had been flirting with 7 for a couple days, then yesterday afternoon hit 7.022, but this morning was back down to 6.95. This is by far my highest score, and it's exciting & nerve-wracking to see it come so close to touching 7 without actually doing so.

Just as a preface, I submitted the wrong photo! Just smack me over the head will ya? Anyone? Anyway, eventhough this is my lowest scoring challenge, people who have left me a comment thinks the idea and composition is good. Timing couldn't be more appropriate. There's even a subliminal portion of the image that ties it back to the title. Unfortunately since I was "smart" enough to click on the wrong photo, I'm doomed :(

Score is what I expected. I was in hurry up and shoot the picture, thinking I only had 1/2 hour left in the challenge. I had to submit the subject because I was confident it was certainly going to be the only one, and I thought it would be amusing. Thanks for the comments everyone. And for those curious, it is a sheeps brain. A friend of mine had a preserved specimen company and I just had to have one. It has been sitting in the same spot for a few years not knowing what to do with it until now. |
