Pentax *ist Ds trade.. PLLLLEEEAASEEE!?!??

Hello.. I am very sad. When the Pentax *ist Ds released a silver/black version of this camera, I knew right away that *that* was the camera that I wanted. However, when I found out later, as I was getting ready to buy it, that the silver version was only available overseas (and at a greatly inflated price).. I was heartbroken. Heartbroken!

So now I'm stuck with the black version.. and while I love my camera to pieces, I would do just about anything to have the silver version.

yah.. I'm just really kind of bored, and just wanted to get this off my chest. I wouldn't really trade with anyone (stupid 2 year warranties tied to stupid serial numbers).. but it kind of makes me ticked at Pentax for not offering the silver version in North America.

Maybe I should email Pentax themselves and see if they can do anything about my plight.

I concur. It would look good with my grey/gray lense/lens.

Yah, but the canon "silver" versions aren't as pretty as the Pentax. It is reminiscent of 35mm SLR Pentax bodies of old.. and it fits so well with my SuperProgram.

I actually sent off an email to Pentax.. I'll keep you all updated.. MUWAHAHAHAHA

Hey.. There's a gold and alligator skin camera out there.. I think it may have been a Leica ;)

Love photography, and love my axes. Really love combining the two! (check out the 'guitars' section of my portfolio) I've , as of recently, been able to include photos of all 8 of them in challenges!
And for my new Kodak, I got a strap for it that is just like the straps I get for my geetars :-)

Oh, you're so right... I sorry,,,(hanging my head and kicking the ground)

That totally sux that you can't get silver. I wonder if anyone over there is lamenting that they can't get black???
