Paypal and Gmail. Two totally different things. How can you compare the two?

I was making a statement...comparing the situation with a like situation. Like I said, I don't know what kind of information people are storring there, I don't know much about it...but if some place said they would encrypt something and upload it to your dpc portfolio, and you just had to enter your dpc username and password there, would you do it?
Seems stupid to enter one sites username and password into another site.
