Using an old photo is "illegal" and not in the spirit of the challenge, that's why you didn't to it. Queanbeez's thinking is in-line with mine RE ketchup & mustard, even though they are both condiments & related. It rained for four of the seven days where I am, so I do also have a bit of a vendetta against people who live in nicer places than I do and I have no hesitation in DNMCing their creativity or out-of-the-boxedness. :-)

This is all for fun & improvement via the opinions of others, however stupid those opinions may be. Sorting the good coments from the stupid ones is up to the photographer, and I'm sure I've given my share of stupid comments. I'm not shy about my stupididty, I embrace it. I'm a scientist, my rain forms due to condensation high in the atmoshpere, usually around kaolinitic dust. ;-)

Good point, I will eventually go back and add edits to any of my DNMC comments, it's only fair. A lot of set-up shots not using rain didn't get this from me. I didn't spend any time thinking about this "blurt first" philosophy, but did add a blurb to my profile as well as my previous post after the fact.

Now that people have begun adding me to thier "enemies" list, my mission is nearly complete...

Still hangin' on..... at 142 votes and 6 comments - good ones (thanks folks)with a score of 6.015. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. It beats my usual 4's but I'm trying to beat my own record. hee hee

Well, I have been in this area pretty much the entire contest, which is actually a tad higher than I expected with my crappy entry. However, I have 2 comments! TWO! I really wish there were more, at least telling me why they don't like it. One of my two actually said their isn't much interest for them in the subject. I found quite a bit of humor in that one. I guess I know what they mean, but it is RAIN! Real, genuine rain. It just happened to fall for the first time the entire length of the contest a few hours before it ended. :)

I don't think I've ever had one of my pictures picked out as a favorite during a challenge.
