Man, this thread is long! I only got through the first half of page one, but I have a few:
Political Correctness (oh yeah)
Bad spelling & grammar (my personal soapbox)
Having to take a typing test tomorrow at 7am!!
Needing a job that requires me to take the aforementioned typing test - when we all know I cannot type!
No money for really cool gear, which is why the job, typing test, et.al. is listed.

I have to subscribe to the political correctness part. It kills your soul just the way radiation kills your body. Slowly, invisibly, without pain, but surely and steadily nevertheless.
One thing that ... well, not exactly ticks me off, but never ceases to amaze, is the way people in English language forums speak to others. So polite, so careful not to annoy anyone, not to hurt anybodys feelings, to the degree, where you really don't dare to speak your mind but only what you think will be acceptable to others.
In my country, however marginal an example, we mostly say what we think. Good and bad. And we accept that from others, too. Sometimes it hurts. Sometimes it hurts real bad. But then, sometimes it makes you feel jolly good, because when you hear a praise, you know it's not just hot air. Somehow it feels more alive.
Some threads yesterday were labelled as rant here. Well ... if that's rant then I don't know what a real argument would be called. :-)
The one where you have virtually blood on the floor, but people stand on their two feet and fight for life or death over what they believe in.
But, as I said, it's all so correct and polite in the big English language forums. I wonder why. |

What ticks me off?
1. People who are compassionate to everyone but you, it's okay for everyone else to rant, rave, whine and complain and they get their hand held and told it's okay but I do it one time too many (not nearly as many times as the others) and I get flamed and blasted.
2. People who won't accept simple apologies, we are human, we make mistakes, I'm one of the rare that will admit when I make a mistake, apologize for it and learn from it. I will even admit mistakes to my kids to prove we are all human, but there are those out there that won't accept that and just keep flaming.
3. People who lie.
4. People who talk behind your back.
5. People who take old information and don't bother checking with you before spreading it all over the place, not knowing how much things might have changed.
6. Underwire bras, love the design, hate the wire, always remove the wire first thing and you know what? IT WORKS JUST AS WELL!!!! :)

Too many cliques on these forums. If your face fits your in. I have been banging my head on other U.S forums Posting projects, but never a reply. It is the same on photo galleries, reminds me of "the emperors new clothes" syndrome. "Oh isn`t it good" usually its cr*p. Someone on another forum remarked that those from Canada are the most friendly. I couldn`t agree more. So I am shutting up shop. |

I get ticked off by people who make creativity, imagination, or ability to think out of the box an issue in everything. ;)
