Good point. I can generally tell that from the detail of the comment. I am thinking of the more common brief ones, such as "should be cropped more to left". I don't want to discourage good comments, but just find a way to sort so I can continue to improve my skills. |

I was on vacation all week and unable to vote. However, I did want to enter my first photo as I just figured out the 640x480 thing. YAHOO!

Personally Im in the UK and I tend to vote during my morning times - which is while most Americans are asleep. What's more Im on ADSL so download speed shouldn't be an issue. Despite that the site is still little slow and I still get "network busy" messages some times.
I do my best to vote on as many as I can but it usually takes me well over an hour to get through 20 or 30 pictures - just because of the download speed.
I'm very pleased that you've removed the voting requirement - especially since I've just started submitting my own photos. But I will continue to vote and comment on as many pictures as I can.
The one question that is really nagging at my mind, though, is - how are you paying for this site? It's a great site - I'm keen to hear that it pays for itself so it can stay alive.
