Dont be sad just keep taking photos and enjoy yourself, hey bet you will never get a brown ribbon (last place) like I did once!

Naked supermodel... hmmm... how does a regular joe like me get a supermodel to pose for me, naked, in a shoe, holding a puppy?
Instead, I got my girlfriend to pose in a shoe for me, so long as I didn't show her face... So far the results are close to the middle of the road. I actually thought it would do a bit better than that. Oh well.

I've taken the brown also! Just toughens up your skin. I keep on plugging away and try to listen to valuable criticism. I also study the photos of the most amazing photographers on this site (for example - young Joey Lawrence). It's really cool when one of the highly admired photographers on this site has something great to say about one of your challenge entries.

*sigh* Going up a little, but not much.... Thanks for all the comments, guys... not. Everybody has said the EXACT same thing. Gosh, if you're going to comment on the one artistic, on-purpose problem, can you at least say something about the actual execution of the picture?
Suggestions for commenting:
Lighting, angle, contrast, color, did the b&w work, etc.
Oh, yeah....

It was because of this challenge that I got sick of not having the right light and just went out and bought myself a nice flash for my rebel. Lighting problems no longer! Let the ribbons pour in now! :)

This is my first entry so I can't complain. Taking pictures for others is always harder than the ones that you want to get in the first place.
Comments have all been good though (thanks all), one person said they gave me an 8 even. At least someone really liked it. :)

OMG!! I am exhausted and I've rated all the images in both D&L and Shoe challenges, but in comments I am at 27% and 13%. The shoes are very difficult to comment on...and I am really given them a third and fourth go around to ensure I am just not tired of looking at shoes. Great job on comments Poetry |

I was doing good from about 70-120 votes, above 6
Then it dropped to mid 5's, even though I got some comments from people who seemed to like it alot.
Oi this is a confusing place. I was doing better when the comments were more akin to "eh.. so-so" |

Thank you, modprod, We appreciate you thiking of us. Sometimes our "American Way of Life" seems odd to others, but we always seem to prevail when all is said and done and that is probably due to the freedom that we have to be who we are. We come from a long line of ancestors who were survivors, hopefully it's in our blood. |

Didn't enter this challenge, couldn't really get inspired.
Here's the shot I considered, but I'm not too happy with it.
There are a lot of straight shots in this challenge which probably shows that most others were struggling to find something different on the theme of shoes.
