so i just started watching this show on DVD about a week ago. its incredible, one of the best written pieces of art ive seen in quite a while.
well, tonight i watched the 4th episode, and jesus christ. anyone else know this feeling? |

| great show....i got sidetracked when it was on hbo....watched about the 1st 6 episodes and then didnt get to see anymore. most any drama that hbo does anymore is good. |

| I bought Deadwood when it came out having never seen it before that and I thought it was one of the best shows ever. I couldn't stop watching them, when one was over I just started another one. It's addicting. |

Two thoughts.....
1) The show has a quality about it that reflects the demographics that watch it to keep it on the air, however, the writers could tone down the word 'fuck' just a bit.
2) I have worked that show, and it is actually shot at the Melody Ranch in Santa Clarita, CA. The work is very hard going since you have to wear rubber rain boots on set because of all the mud. And if you know anything about electricity, mud is not a welcome visitor to the digital ballasts, or the hmi's, or the globes. Mud sucks.

| never worked with digital ballasts, but that doesn't sound fun at all. for their night shoots do they use 100' frames or do they have a bunch of banks |

| my favorite show in a very long time...I've never been a huge follower of shows - I normally watch a show at my convienance, but I NEVER missed an episode of Deadwood. I was shocked that it wasn't recognized fully at the Emmys, especially in the lead actor category. |

Deadwood is one of the best programs on recent TV!
Watched the first two series and can't wait for the third!
Can't wait for it to come out in the UK though, so my mate downloads it for me!
