Dreamstime has been very slow for me, but sales are picking up over the last two months or so. (now at 137 USD)
Istockphoto still genereates double the amount for me, compared to dreamstime, and has been doing well right from the start (now at 533 USD)
Shutterstock had a great start but then really slowed down (now at 245 USD).
I have not been posting any new images in the last year or so and have 66 images on dreamstime and about 100 images on the other two sites.

Shutterstock 84 images online - $54
iStockphoto 45 images online - $76.50
Dreamstime 50 images online - $80
All three are gently ticking along with at least one download from each most days. I have to say that the download rate has been slow, but is starting to pick up these last few weeks.

I recommend that you join all 3 as different images do well on different sites. Some of my best sellers on Shutterstock weren't even accepted at iStock, for example.

I also recommend all 3, though dreamstime is way down on my earnings list. about 1/2 of the other two.
Istock is my winner at the moment |

I've been a member for just over a year on all 3 and have made approx $2000.
I haven't submitted an image in over 3 months and the sales keep coming in. :-)
If all goes well I'll know in a week or so if I'm in with Alamy. I don't plan on submitting to the micro stock site anymore. |

Has anyone had any experience with ImageVortex? I have yet to submit there, but the 70% royalty with usage rights starting at $20 sounds good. I think this is a fairly new stock photo site, and it looks to me like it might be a bridge between the so-called microstock sites and the higher-end ones. I'd be interested to hear of anyone's experience there. |

I sold 1 image there in July and nothing since then. It has been disappointing so far...
