I've been trying something similar to this for the travel challenge but I can't seem to make it work. How do you get it so that the object doesnt become transparent when you move it up? In all my shots you can see through it.

A black/dark background helps the object appear solid.

Great photo. Proves to me you don't have to spend big bucks to get the shotif you are inovative and have patience. I might have to try this with a racketball.
