Took some pictures of our lesser minded friends from nature. Post some other primates, apes and monkeys. What do you think?

This little rascal is on view at our local park - along with aquarium fish and a few birds.

Nina here acts like the guardian of this group of gorillas at Woodland Park Zoo. She looks so kind, always watches the others, settles fights, minds the babies. She is just gorgeous! |

Some shots from the Zoo challenge. It's quite disheartening, having worked as a volunteer at an open range zoo in Australia, to see the conditions in a small provincial zoo in Japan.
