It is freakin unbelievable. I am sure it is a great image, but I suspect that people aren't looking good enough to see that it even is a reflection. While it is so obvious. Extremely dissapointed with the voting so far, totally unexpected. Never thought I would say that.

I'm with you. I knew that this (my personal favorite image that I have ever submitted) would be lacking in score. I can't sleep with a 5.000!!!!

Didn't take much time selecting a photo for this challenge - this one stood out over the rest of the shots, not too much of a "standout" to the voters. Hopefully it will do better in the upcoming light of day (at least on this side of the rock we are on) |

I was hoping for a bit more...i thought this would out-do my Wide Angle (5.71 w/ 8 comments after 136 votes) but I guess I was wrong! Still, it is sitting above me overall average of 5.04 so it is still a 'winner' in my book.
I am scoring consistently and consistently higher now...but no lighting strikes yet to get me a ribbon! |

A little disappointed. There are hardly any surfaces photographed as requested by the challenge, compared to the number of entries.
Creatively photograph a reflecting surface that is not a mirror while keeping your camera out of the shot.
Although there are many wonderful fall photos.

One of my better images but it's taken quite the nosedive. It's going to be a long week (especially I only entered one challenge). Folks, the challenge says reflection so IMHO it should be part of the composition. Like others have said before me, please look at the images carefully :) |

What is going on?! Im really dissapointed... I happened to post a shoot that looks too much like a mirror but is NOT a mirror... people are not looking :'(
After my last two entries that ended in the top 20 (Personification and Coffee) now Im stuck with a lousy score :S... BTW my worst ever... so my question is:
Is my picture THAT bad... or is it only that people don't spend enough time to see what is going on.

Sorry Frisca, I didnt intend to show what picture I was talking about... in fact if you take a look at my original post I myself cut parts that could show what particular shot was being talked about. Anyway I won't make the same mistake twice, thank you for your advise. |

I'm over a 5! Whoot! This was my only goal for this challenge, to just ONCE creep up over that 5 mark. Everyone is groaning about being under a six but *I'LL TAKE THIS SCORE!*. I'm totally estatic. I'm learning something! Yay!
