There are web crawlers that scan webpages, forums, pretty much anythiing on the web for email addresses and then you get spam. Welcome to the new millennium!

Yeah, those same guys spammed me with my own website too.

Frankly, if you can find out where they are you could file a lawsuit. As they have used your business name to solicit.

i have uploading a lot to them, but havn't got many downloads.. they still seem rather slow.
maybe they'll pick up

Crawlers look for email addresses by looking for the @ sign or the 'mailto' tag. Try giving your email on your webpages as an image; a little gif file with your email address on it cannot be found. Another alternative is to use PHP or any other mailer code and make a contact form. |
