Sorry guys, I've just had my D200 for two days, during which I had to work. I had no time to find something interresting to shoot. Besides, the weather is awful which is not really helping. I have made some samples to show image quality throughout ISO panel.
The subjet, composition and focus might not be there, I shot them before going to work. (notice that exif time info is wrong, I forgot to set the clock). I hope this weekend will offer more opportunities

6.3 Mb jpg-from-raw of a 6-second night shot of a city street and buildings:
D-200 night shot
That ought to answer a bunch of questions. SLOW download but worth it.

Dang, that's nice.
When I was working as a photographer, I never considered Canon, I shot all Nikon F3's and Nikkor glass. It may sound goofy, but when I bought my 10D, there was a great deal of regret at letting go of my Nikons to get, of all things, a Canon. Of course, compared to the tank-like construction of the F3, the 10D seemed (and still does to a degree) like a plastic toy. Don't even get me started on what the 300D feels like in my hands.
I'm thinking that the D200 could swing me back to the Nikon side, were I to upgrade anytime soon.

Just have to sell one of my D70 bodies (if you're interested PM me) and work the deal for the rest and that baby is mine.

Is it possible to suffer from camera envy? :) |
