Hi there and merry christmas. I haven't entered challenges for a long time. But I'm gonna try to do so in the near future. But this thread isn't about me.

It is about my girlfriend, babylon. She's been taking picture for some time but didn't have a website to show them to the world so I made one for and gave it to her as a christmas present.

You can find the site at //audur.hamstur.is

Love the clean, simple interface. The photos load a tad bit slowly but not too bad. She's got some really nice stuff!

arnit, you have created a beautiful showcase for your girlfriend to show off her excellent photography. I was spellbound by her fine landscape & animal pics (oh, those Icelandic ponies! and that whale's tail!) and then her fabulous music shots. Her people images were just as splendid. And they were shown off perfectly by your simple, elegant presentation.

My only suggestion - and I assure you it is a minor one: those forward and back arrows are just slightly hard to find. If she shows off this site to a prospective client, it's probably best to make the site as easy as possible to examine.

Nice Christmas present, indeed.

well, the photos certainly took center stage. Absolutly amazing (website and photos).

only suggestion is more numerical symmetry between sections, there are a lot photos in "Music" then only two in the "Daily Life" section.

other than that, this is great.

I love it! The website is clean and simple and really showcases her photos. Please tell Babylon that I loved her shots - especially the horses and the landscapes. Out here in sunny Florida, I'm in awe of her snowy, icy environmental shots. Keep up the good work!

Love the website. Clean, simple, intuitive and elegant. Loaded fast for me.

Love the photos. The landscape and animal portfolios are consistently brilliant (although the first landscape image manages to rise above even that good company; it's sublime).
