I recently purchased the new iMac with the intel proccessor in it. I had a year old HP desktop and then i purchased the external drive to tranfer my files over and to have additional space. Now i have the drive plugged in to my Mac and i can take anything i want off of it, like mp3s and jpgs to add to my Mac but i cant write anything to the HP external drive. It's stressful because i have like 200 Gs of space left over. Do i need to reformat the drive? If i do will i then be able to add PC files on it?
