I'm not sure where to go with this one yet. While trying to figure out what props I may have I realized that most anything I had from the 80s has long since been discarded. The only thing I definitely still have is my vinyl collection. I was a kid in the 80s and had a large collection of toys (transformers, gi joe, masters of the universe, etc) but the last of that stuff went on ebay about two years ago.
I guess I could go down to Independent Bar in downtown Orlando this saturday. That is like stepping into a time machine since half the people there are still stuck in the 80s...

Personally, I'm patiently waiting for the "Risky Business" dancing-in-the-tighty-whities self-portraits of the menfolk around here. ;) |

I hope that there aren't as many incorrect decade entries as there were in the 70's Challenge.
That was one of my first Challenges and I recall getting so upset by all the 60's stuff that appeared in the Top 20 and the entire Challenge overall.
"...the girl with kaleidescope eye"??? Helloooooo! Sgt. Pepper...1967....?
(nearly lost my mind on that one)
....maybe I should stay away from the 80's and maintain my super nice guy, happy go lucky, up with people, demeanor?

Am I being PROPOSITIONED? If your profile picture is a valid indication that you're a golfer I might just take you up on this, since we share an interest in photography and golf. If you like to eat good food and would enjoy hanging out with a serious chef, that's icing on the cake (so to speak)...
Your place or mine?
(wink)

HEY! Space Taxi was great.
Are you a child of the 80s?
You might be a child of the 80s if...
Methinks this challenge calls for a field trip to New Joizy... :)

Sad to admit, I am like, totally clueless, when it comes to photographing something that represents the 80's. Like, remnants of the Berlin Wall are on a different continent. Time to hit the history books! |

I'll bet a years free membership that we'll see things from the 70's and 90's...some things, with thin relations to the 80's and many things with none at all.
