Wow, thinking back to the 80s isn't easy... I burned up most of those brain cells in college during that decade! (Studying of course - ROFL)
Members Only jackets
Remember the whole "preppie" thing? (ouch kelly green pants & a pink izod shirt)
Not to mention the Flock of Seagulls hairdos (and don'ts)
Black leather & chains - well I guess that hasn't gone out of style for some folks...
Easters celebrations at UVA (WOW were those PARTIES!)
Punk rock concerts
Safety pins through the cheek
Wow... Fun times! LOL |

would it be okay to ask if something is "80's enough" (not an actual picture, just an item)?
or no, considering it might give away which photo is mine?? |

Your place or mine?

Your place. Probably better seafood, seeing as how I'm land-locked. But first - what's your handicap? On paper mine's a 17 but I don't play to it very often. Mostly I enjoy just whacking that stupid little white ball (it's really a silly game) and wandering around the golf course in search of it. The golf ball, that is, not the proverbial "it".
Oh, and one possible fatal flaw I have - I don't like cheese. Except, of course, when fotoman_forever wears it. |

Seafood we got, lots of seafood. Fresh scallops, for example, fresh off the boat. Yum.
When I was playing a lot I used to play to a 9-10 handicap, but I have not been playing much lately and I'm scraping around more like an 18 currently. I'm one of those golfesr who isn't very GOOD but when in practice can avoid making the big mistakes, so I get respectable scores. Good putting, good short game, you get the idea. But when I'm out of practice, I duff too many shots, and it's hard to avoid double bogeys when you've only advanced the ball 50 yards on your second shot...
So, is it a date? You might want to wait until it gets a little warmer :-)

Yes, I think warmer would probably be good. Helps to see the hole when you're trying to putt, and all that snow tends to obscure it.
So I have to figure out how I can bring camera stuff, golf clubs, and a bike on a plane... Perhaps if I leave all the clothings stuff at home..... Nah, golf courses have those silly rules about clothing, don't they? :-) I tend to hit straight but not all that far. Plus side - I rarely lose a golf ball unless a large body of water is involved. Minus side - my short game REALLY has to be on to score decently because I just don't hit many greens in regulation.

You can rent a bike just down the road a ways, if you're determined to bike. No problema :-)

Flirting indeed.

Ah the '80s. My highschool / beginning of college years. Some awesome memories (some pretty bad ones too). I've got to in on this challenge! |

I was thinking about doing a self-portrait but the only 80's thing I could think of off hand was the whole, shaving-lines-into-your-eyebrows thing (ala, Vanilla Ice) ....I don't think I'm that dedicated to my art yet. :)

ditto....
Class of '82 Rules...My Senior Class trip got cancelled because a bunch of us....er, them....thought it was fun to put that message on the school sign (or maybe it was the rest of the message was bad)
note to self: not a smart thing to be out raising a ruckus and then 'sign the sign'! |

records: 80's, yes or no?
i'm talking vinyl.
edited to say:
or shall i say, 80's enough for this challenge?
and i don't meant just a picture of one.
i just don't want to submit something and it not be perceived as fitting for the challenge...
