I notice that a particular subject with a particular background and two particular props is duplicated in two photos. LOL Is that vague enough?
On second thought, I suppose this could just be a case of family members both submitting to a challenge.
Nevermind. :-D |

I think I know which ones you mean.......If I'm correct it's just a case of great minds thinking alike. The photographers don't know each other. ;'-D
Email me if you want my guess.......... |

Nope, I know exactly which ones she's talking about...
I don't know if I should spoil it by giving away the primary subject (which is not a pencil)
Look for a yellow post it note and some black and white... |

I noticed it too, and mentioned it in my comments. I think we have a number of mums and daughters who each submit in their own rights (I think it's not just one set of parent/ kid member sets??)

Another hint: The photo isnt a B/W pic. Something in the photo is black and white. (By the way, there are red marks on the pencil, in both pictures)

Kathleenm, you are an astounding observer! That's a tough "act" to follow. I thought there was something odd but hey, after going through 180 pictures... I thought it was me and decided to lay off on the glue for a while.

I also noticed straight away but partly because the photos were perhaps about 10 apart or something in the order before voting. |

Yes this was fun but I wanna ask you one question Do you think it is just from the same houshold or the same person just signed in two times(That is more that i think). If it is the same person then i wanna know how many users are signed in two times to be able to post two diffrent pics every week and/or give the "other" pictures 10 or something in hope that it will put the pics higher scored total. I think it is must to look at these things. There are 3000 people signed in as users here put every week it is 150-200 pics and 2-300 who votes. Where are the others?? This "seeing double" post just make me think. How about you? |

Rocco There have been posts in these forums from mums (or dads) saying that their kids are also active members. I don't think these are one person entering twice, but genuinely two members of the same family entering and occasionally using similar subject matter. I am a member who doesn't submit - I am not yet into Digital photography - still on film SLR. But since this site isn't about the post processing but the photography, I think the things we talk about (composition, colour, light and all that) are generic photography topics and I enjoy that. I also learn a lot, and hopefully give a little, by voting on all photos and commenting on as many as possible (will be all of them this week). |

I noticed this when I first saw the thumbnails, and it has been discussed a little bit in the site council. There's no real indication that any rules have been broken, so nothing has happened about it. We'll see at the end of the challenge who they were submitted by. There's definitely no reason to disqualify either one, or both of them.
I think the adiministrators monitor users for multiple accounts, but I'm not sure. |
