Nikon should provide lenses like the 50 f/1.4 and 35-70 f/2.8 with a hood. Freakin irritating to have to buy them seperately for insane prices. And the screwtype of the 50 cannot hold the lenscap, arghhhh!

Fast and sharp. |
This is my second favourite lens, although the earlier model of this was shitty! The new model is way better. My third choice is the Nikkor 12-24, also awesome! |

Yeah I want that one too! |
Actually it is not too expensive for the quality it produces, you have to get it. The 1.4 is much more expensive but the quality difference is minimal. |
Hmmm, I like the smooth creamy baby bottom bokeh and contrast of the 1.4 a lot more. The 1.4 seems to give images a little extra pop. It should for triple (or something) the price. |
Did you try it out? It is not on your list! And yes the 70-200 is on my "to buy" list :)

Not yet, but I did a lot of research on both because it is somewhere on my want-to-get-it-someday-list. But first I have to attend Nasti's workshop so that I can become a top portrait/nude photographer. It should earn itself back with ease. I have high hopes. :)

Ah, good choice. I love using this one for shows.
After getting the 30D, my upgrade for that lens is:
EF 16-35 F/2.8L USM
*sighs* I love L lenses. |
