Only 6... 3 to get my first series of shots, then another 3 in my second series to prove to myself that I couldn't do any better. |

I tried to do it with just 1 - I'm not thoroughly happy, but I'm in the process of moving, so all my crap is packed. grr...

Probly a good reason not to take a picture of your omlette huh? :) This was my first entered challenge and 2nd week on the site - I had a few ideas, but nothing I could do except the one I entered (shush shush about that for voting reasons! ;))

It was very close, but I didn't break a single egg. The close call was my backdrop (and the weights that held it in place) coming loose and smashing down across my setup. I cringed when I saw it (lovely new backdrop material that hadn't been used for anything else yet). |

I hope there won't be 150 egg's splashing / breaking onto Chess boards to vote on this week. Unfortunately time beat me this weekend so I have no submission but I'm keen to see how creative some people were. |

All I can say is my dog is a liitle yellow in the face from all the eggs he ate during my egg photo shoot. Hope he'll be ok. |

Yeah very healthy for dogs, eating raw eggs make there coats shiny and silky.
I didn't break a single egg, I did have one stolen by the dog however when my back was turned and found him laying under the kitchen table trying to break it and eat it. |

9, all intentionally. Eggs are cheap props. Did you ever try to break an egg in your hand by squeezing it? You can't do it!

I got my entry in 15 minutes before the deadline...no broken eggs!
I thought about doing an egg splash, but didn't want to be one in the crowd. I think I came up with something unique and original... I'll find out in a few minutes!

I believe there is something in RAW eggs which is NOT healthy for dogs, at least in larger quantities. I would consult a vet before feeding them more than occasionally. I don't know whether dogs are as susceptible to Salmonella as people, but they are ubiquitous on eggs and other poultry products |

You can do it, but the easier way is to crack it, and put the cracked part in your hand, THEN squeeze. *angel face* Not that I'd know.

I decided that I would boil them so I would make a mess if a broke them.
I didn't break any, but after I took the pictures I needed, I went downstairs to plug in my camera. When I went back up after about 5 minutes my four year old had 4 of the eggs ripped apart and scattered through out the dinningroom and no yolks to be found, so I assumed she ate them. Later that day I was vaccuuming the livingroom and noticed some yellow stuff on the recliner chair and ask her if she ate the yolks. She looked at me with the quilt written all over her face and said she didn't like them and had put them in the chair. That was a big mess to clean up!! I am glad I noticed then and not a month later when it would start to smell.
I can't wait for Easter. lol

Well, I broke 3 this morning, but those were for breakfast. I did take a picture of them frying though, but I havent even looked at how they came out yet. I liked my idea in concept, but I really couldnt get a picture I was happy with. I submitted one anyway, it's alright, and the score is reflecting that... only a 5.3. I didnt spend a huge amount of time, I guess my creative juices weren't flowing, or I didnt feel like messing with a sill life setup, or something.

Only broke one egg but after doing my shoot, I forgot I left the eggs out and found them in my "studio" (the bathroom) much later in the day so had to toss em out. Oh well! |
