This thing rocks!

The baby wasn't quite in focus. But my son is awesomely sharp even resized, no USM applied in post. All shot at f/2.8

This is also the only lens that I currently own that does not turn my d50 into a lead weight. ;0)

And almost everything else in my portfolio in the last few months. I use it more than any other lens.

Ohhh hell man, the fun with this lens begins at night!!!

WTC at 1AM HANDHELD!

If 1600 is not quick enough, Underexpose one stop and fix in photoshop.

Congrats on a great lens!

cannt wait till my 1.8 arrives in the mail! everywhere i look and every forum i go to there are raving reviews about it!

Its a great one. And for under $100, everyone should have it in their bag. If you can go $325 - get the 1.4 - but 1.8 has been wonderful to me.

great shots everyone. I'm still waiting to get mine in the mail. Should have gotten next day air, this is killing me. Just wondering what you nikon guys paid. Here in the SF bay area averybody wanted about $145. I got it online at JR for $105 with ship.

I think they should have a 50mm only challenge. What d'ya think?
