Has anyone ordered from preferredphoto.com? It seems like their prices are the best on the web but I don't know anything about them. Suggestions for there or somewhere else? thanks |

Sorry, I haven't tried them, though I will say... they look legit, site has been around for a while.

If it sounds too good to be true....it is. Every single time.
Reselleratings.com
If you can't find info on reselleratings.com, do a google search with the company name and reviews....

Really glad I saw this. I was looking at a new lens through them. Ended up getting it from Adorama. They're not real good either according to resellerratings.com. |

I dealt with 17th Street photo. Ordered yesterday afternoon, received my camera this afternoon. Less than 24hrs. That was with standard shipping and was supposed to take 3-5 days. I'm so impressed. They didn't pull and bait and switch, didn't try to sell me anything other than what I ordered. Didn't even ask if I wanted extended warranty, (though they do sell them). Overall I'm very impressed with them. Oh, and they were only $15 more than the first place I looked (which had a very bad rating). Way lower than anywhere else. Hope this helps. |

Another Brooklyn camera store. Run don't walk - they are ALL bait and switch shops. //donwiss.com/pictures/BrooklynStores/ //www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff161891.htm

Someone in one of the other forums was talking about how much he/she likes preferredphoto.com. Personally, I like to deal with Glenn's Fair Price which is a local store. No website. But, his prices rival any place on the web. He lets me do layaways. Plus, if I have questions/problems, I can walk into the store and ask them. |

I purchased my first film camera from 17th street photo a few years ago and it arrived very quickly... I was pleased. |
