So does that mean if I make 30 comments I can enter or do they have to be made before the challenge started?


It was already mentioned that it finds your stats at the time of entering the challenge; so the former.

But i wouldn`t call my 2272 comments a "lack of commenting".

Does council know how many are eligible to participate in this one?

(Hope _eligible_ is the right word here......... Have to do my darnedest now that Double-U wants us all to learn better English, sort of hoping it goes for ... too)

Haha, same here. A litte bummed, I always enjoy free studies but not bitter in the least. Have fun guys, there is no way I am going to make 300 comments in the next 48 hours.

This will be fun to watch. Those making comments this weekend to get into the competition will find that their "comments received" number will keep going up as others make comments to reach their quota as well.

I had not paid attention to the Made/Received ratio of comments. It was a nice surprise to find out that I have given more than I have received. It's a pity that the weather is not good for outdoor photography and it looks the same for tomorrow :-(

I'm 300 in the hole. I would have to stumble across a ribbon-contending shot this weekend to dedicate 5 hrs to comments.
