I always do what I want to do. Usually, that means I'm shooting, cooking, or hanging out here. It's just that now, for this paticular challenge, if I don't hang out here I can't ctach up, but if I do hang out here I can't shoot...
Essentially, to try to enter would be to "bite" off more than I can chew :-)

If you want to know where you are with your comments, just click on the Comments Made in your profile, on the right, it will show you how many you have made, up-to-date. (Same for Received).
(At least this works for me).

Sure, join me. No way I'd be able to qualify with anything but a photo of someone slumped over a keyboard ...
There's always the outtake thread when the votings done: "This is what I would have entered if ..." usually (based on the typical comment pattern) "does better" than it would have if it had actually been entered. |

Ha, you guys can try. My Window entry went from 8 comments 17 overnight, but I'm about 100 ahead of the game and that's AFTER getting 130 comments on my Color Portrait Entry.
Better hurry, I'm gathering materials now and shooting in an hour.
Of course I'm gonna have rushed so much I'm destined for a 5.2 and will be able to comment on my own shot in my 4.7-5.3 thread... ;) |

| If you've entered the challenge, I assume you don't have to be afraid for more comments received anymore? or does the qualification stand untill the end of the entering-time? |

I've got a great idea (for those receiving lots of "questionable" comments this morning) -- click on the commenters names and then leave comments on all their past entries. That will defeat their efforts!
(frankly, the entry requirements should have been based on the number of comments made/received as of 12:01 AM April 29 and not allow this last minute commenting.)

Once your entry is in it doesn't matter if the other commenters overtake you.
Deliberately commenting one someone's images in an attempt to make them ineligible is not allowed, even though often suggested. |

Yet deliberately commenting on someone's images in an attempt to become eligible is? Seems a bit unfair!
(Anyhow, I'm sitting this one out even though I'm eligible, and I'd be very happy to receive 600 useful comments even though it would make me inelligible!)

I have had 10 new comments today. Most of them more then just "nice".
(Don't get me wrong, "Nice" tells me that I am on the right track and it is a lot better then nothing.)
This is fun.
Keep on you high commented guys, comment on our low commented pictures more :-)

yeah i did leave a few "not too appealing" comments... but i think they were just based on the image themselves ;)
