I set my alarm for 4:30 this mornimg. I was going to go shoot before sunrise at my favorite spot. Well, the alarm went off and I said to myself, "I'm sleepy". So I'll be sitting this one out. (I know you all care and are terribly heart broken, of course.)

Oh, and I'm in. Had a ball yesterday driving around taking shots at this place, at that place. I'm loving my entry. Hope others find it halfway as interesting. Wonder how many total entries we'll end up with. Anybody venture to guess?

Yeah I got about 200 left to go...

Might not all be helpfull ;)

Lucky for me I have been working on my comments since my return making sure I commented on about 10% per challenge.

Now could everyone stop commenting on my photos please! TY ;-)

i'd been slowly recommenting to try and get back on top, with this type of challenge in mind...its so only took 10 comments so i did 40. i want to do more and maybe i still will but i'm on dial-up and its a nasty prossess.

anyhow now i need a photo wasn't home when it started.

Help!
I entered the challenge all right, but now underneath my challenge entry image it says I cannot participate. Is my image in now or not? AmI to stay up until 6am local time to make sure I've got enough comments or what??

I'm not sure on this issue. I've been trying to get in touch with langdon all weekend but he has been set to Away on IM for the last 2 days :/

i was think about this i think i'm well in the clear but if others are pushed to comment then i might dip under also what happens then....anyway i would say pick a big open challenge and be helpful but consise and get well over what you think others could give you between now and the rollover.

This is bothersome. I hope my image will end up in the challenge, after all I fulfilled the requirements of the challenge at the time of entering. If not, I'd be 'punished' for having received comments.
Ah, I'll just comment some more to make sure. I hope I won't get too many comments in the next 6 hours then, I'll need some sleep!

I have the same thing happen to me. I return after lunch and BAM! I need more than 15 comments again! Sheesh! Just gotta catch up I guess ;)

Once your entry has been accepted, you're in -- it doesn't matter if more people comment on your photos between now and the challenge closing.

Get some sleep and dream of ribbons : )

Where does it say that?

As I understand it, once the photo's been uploaded, you're in. You may not be able to modify the photo or the info details if your comment ratio falls below 1:1, but I don't think the photo gets kicked out.

It just said that on my image. I made some more comments and now its all good. I am just going to make more comments to keep me in. No biggie!
