Ok, so how is this thing going to work? I have not kept up with the rules on other side challenges, so I am out of the loop. Also, when will this begin? There are new challenges approaching tomorrow, so I would assume that is too soon? Will it be on member challenges or exclusives, etc?????

WPL is the World Photographer League. That site has information on the rules, teams, current standings, etc. |

Hey can I join? I barely have time to enter challenges though, but when I do and see that there is a chance for my final score to be above 5 I get extatic. Don't even want to think about a 6 yet.

Are there any rules? There should be rules. Nothing fancy, mind you, and don't make them too ambiguous, you know, just kinda...uh...mediocre rules.
I think I might tolerate being a member of such a non-descript group, provided there no obligations to upset my routine routine. |

if you smile for more than 4 seconds straight, you will be punished with watching reruns of golden girls.
if you frown for more than 4 seconds straight, you will be injected with prozac straight to the brainstem.

I look at it this way. If your average is below 5 you SUCK, If it is around 4.5 you really suck. Over 5 you begin to move toward the average. 5.5 is average, Mediocre. If you average in the lower 5's your mediocre.

i'm looking to build a team here for the world photography league.. who's going to volunteer to represent team mediocre?
I'm just going through the rules of the league.. looks like members have to add themselves to a draft pool first to be picked up... thought I'd put the call out in advance.

I must have missed the jist of this entire thread. I thought you were trying to start an entire separate side challenge for Team Mediocre. I didn't know you were recruiting for WPL. When the thread died off, I thought that there just wasn't enough interest, because at that time I didn't even know what WPL was. LOL....
I am Captain of Team #8 in WPL2 now. Sorry, but if this thread was about recruiting for Mediocre in WPL, I missed the boat from that dock. :)

| At this point, I don't think you can really recruit people for a team since all the set teams slots are full. I think you can sign up to be a captain and try to draft whomever you like during the draft period. |

I believe the same. Set Teams aren't allowed to pick from the drafts until the draft teams have chosen.
There are still a LOT of draft pool members needed though!!! See the thread on WPL. Let me get the link.
