One thing I'd suggest is a "Testing" forum for people to test how the forums work. I'm new here and I'm not sure how the signature and built in commands work yet.
Right now I'm wondering if my signature will have a hyperlink in it or if I have to put that in by hand. :)

Okay... it looks like my signature wasn't hyperlinked, so I'm testing again.
Also, it looks like the double-quotes in the subject caused a little bug. The subject for this reply got cut off prematurely.

Maybe that's a FAQ that someone who knows what they're doing could put together. Explain how the buttons to insert links and images work, and how signatures work and stuff like that.
