| Is there any other FREE website like pbase.com which allows you to make a web photo album? |

I've used ofoto - I like that I can choose to set it to record visitors if I want to (the downside is that they must register to view an album with this feature switched on, but it's one of the really quick and simply registrations with just email and password) and I like that I can easily change the order of photos, title them, viewers can add comments and so on. Uploading is much slower than pbase because ofoto doesn't have a zip facility to upload batches of images in one step - but on the other hand - the site is nearly always up and doesn't "burp" in the middle of something, causing the loss of whatever it is I've just been working on, in the way that pbase often does.

If you want a site to primarily share photos with friends/family try MyFamily.com -- it is password-protected so access is only for people you invite. It's a safer place to post your kid pictures. Free for 5mb of storage, $20/year for an additional 100mb.
Ofoto is good too -- I've used them for about 3 years, and they were my on-line printer up until now...They are owned by Kodak if that makes any difference to you.
But I think pBase is still the best if you want an auxilliary site where you can link to the photos. |

Yes am looking for a site similar to pbase.com where you can give the site url to friends, dpchallengers to view the photos. I wont mind, if the site doesnt give much additional functionality as pbase does.
there are sites like clubphoto.com which do not gives you a URL of your own to share with others. |
