yes thats right I said 07. :)
Seeing as though the convention idea seems to of died down, I am posing a Washington DC gtg/4day ish weekend. I am travelling over from Australia. I dont mind if it is June, July or August. An idea of who may be interested would be great. I know this is extremely early but coming from all this way takes a bit of organising and saving on my part.
Ideas on places to stay, things to do would be great. I plan to bump this thread every month or so to keep it moving and try and get as many people coming along as possible.
Looking forward to hearing ideas etc

I would almost certainly attend! Even though I'm close to DC, I had to miss the DC night tours from last year and this year because of scheduling conflicts at work. With a full year to plan, though, not a problem! Looking forward to it lentil! |

I'd be game for this... and like Ray said, with a year to plan it shouldn't be an issue. When are you coming to Washington?

If you make the effort to come over from Australia I can certainly make the effort to drive 2 hours :-)

just keep in mind that there will be a July 4th celebration in DC (and lots of other places) and it will be EXTREMELY crowded then...

I vote for the 4th of July. That would be a great time to visit DC.
