Guy Fawkes Night is in the UK where we celebrate when the afore mentioned gentleman and some of his cronies tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605 - It is known as the Gunpowder plot.
We celebrate the every every year on 5th November with Fireworks and burn an effigy of Guy Fawkes on bonfires |

Not related to fireworks but there's a movie that came out not too long ago called "V for Vendetta" that has a plot that intergrates Guy Fawkes Night in it. Great flick too. Can't wait for August 1st so I can go buy it.
Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled firework challenge change chat.

Cool! I was at work this morning wondering how I was gonna get outa downtown and edit/submit before midnite then realized it would still be very light in California! Good catch Langdon! |

Help!! I was really looking forward to go out and shoot some serious fireworks because my wife is out of town. However, because we are moving soon, I think certain items got packed already. The items I need: Tripod, remote trigger. I think I may be able to do without the remote trigger. I'll just have to hold something dark over the lens until after I release the trigger. Suggestions for the tripod aspect??? Thanks! |

Maybe the carb-free kind so they're light! |
