Hey Tim, that is one seriously good score you're sitting on. Maybe I'm a lone voice, but I actually reckon the overall quality of images in this challenge is down a bit, so I'd guess your shot is one of the few that I scored really high. You could be looking at a ribbon here dude.

I'm workin' on something brown here, but it sure ain't peanutbutter!!
Other than the fact that my 4 entries at the moment are going to KILL my average, I'm not toooooo bummed any more. This one didn't end up how I'd envisioned it and I wasn't sure just what was off, but was out of time and tossed it in. Now I've figured out how to get what I wanted, so it's served its purpose, sub-5 score and all :) |

From what I have seen of scores posted mine is the highest so far. That doesn't mean that there aren't some high 7's out there hiding though so I guess you can count me in. Whether its for a ribbon or not I can't say. I sure hope so though!

Reading the first part of your post made me a bit nervous for my standing. And then a sigh of relief. Now if I can just convince a couple of others to tip their hands I can relax til Tuesday. Still two ribbon places to go guys! |

I wouldnt really ever count that ratio against someone. An almost 3:1 view to vote ratio means you did something right as people are going back and looking at it again. My flowwer shot has a 4:3 view to vote ratio and I have a whopping 4.5 score. Noone is going back to look at it again exccept to maybe laugh at how much it really sucks. They voted and moved on.

These are mine and atthis point I hope that the views keep going up at a higher rate than the votes. As votes taper off what I would like to see are people coming back to look at my shot again and hopefully bump it up a point or two.
