... or make it look like you did!
Just took a touch of PS magic, here is the original. Shot with fisheye lens while standing almost underneath this display.

No comments? I love this shot, wish could have used it for perspective, but I had to clone the concrete column from its ass! lol

I love the shot and it is where I work. I'm an X engine troop out there and now I'm in avionics. I'm currently waiting for my friends in teh engine shop to tell me when they are going to run one of the F-15's either in the hush house or at the trim pad for some after burner shots.
But I love what you did with our display at the front gate. |

Guard: That, in your bag?
Kim: What? Oh, that. That's my camera.
Guard: No. The lady holding the camera.

Maybe not a surprise to those who know me, but it wouldn't be the first time I've been smuggled into a military base! :P

Hey Cindi,
Sorry for not posting and checking the forums. I have been in D.C. for three weeks. Tooks pics for my mother-in-law's 50th wedding anniversary. I just got back. To answer your question. Getting you on is really easy. We just set up a date and I take you on. Sometimes they make us sign people on and others we can just bring them on and only I have to show my Military I.D. Taking pics on that base is no problem in the right areas.
The base is Camp Blanding and my unit went out west and picked up that plane and trucked it to there. It first went to my base at Jax international airport for all the prep work.. I helped strip it and paint it, along with two others we put at our base.
e-mail me if you want to try to get out there one weekend.

Nice shot. Almost thought you got a flight in a wing plane. Sometimes we get to go up for a ride. I'm still waiting for my chance. But, they just had a guy die on take off in a F-16 out mid-west. The pilot was talking to him on initial roll out hit burner went vert and went to talk to guy again and he didn't answer. They returned and he had a heart attack on take-off. He was in his mid 30's. So incentive flights are at a stand still for now.
