I was trying to explain the concept behind the Neo-Tribal Metalsmith movement to a friend of mine. She just couldn't say it and started calling me Mustardhead ... it kind of stuck.

ArpeggioAngel was the name of a song my friends band had years ago that was written specifically for me. Well, the music was written for me even earier than that by my then boyfriend (guitar player) who was in the band. A few years later the rest of the band picked up on the music, added lyrics, and ArpeggioAngel was created. I loved the name of the song (and the song itself) so much, that I started using it as a username for a lot of different sites.

"Whereas the truth is that fullness of soul can sometimes overflow in utter vapidity of language, for none of us can ever express the exact measure of his needs or his thoughts or his sorrows. And human speech is like a cracked kettle on which to tap crude rhythms for bears to dance to, while we long to make music that will melt the stars..." -- Gustave Flaubert, "Madame Bovary"
My screen name comes from my "verbal" side; if I were starting over again from the photography side I'd use "MeadowStung"...

A nickname from early in my secondary school life... origin has become lost in time... believed to have come from a schoolmate who now is dead though! :(
It's what I'm known as to many people though when I go back to London.
It's also more of a way of life than a nickname... my wife's discovered that she has wobble tendencies as do both of our cats! :) |

My name was bestowed upon me about 14 years ago by the O'Toole clan after they sent me down to Hades to stop all those dead metaphors from escaping to the land of the living via the ducts of gaseous poets. My mission was a spectacular failure, of course, so I was given an appellation more descriptive than honorary. |

I am Just a mister "E", and/or mystery.
I was an Assistant Scoutmaster for BSA Troop 68 for around 10 years, where my son also made it to Eagle-Scout status.
The kids and most of my friends called me "Mister E", since I'm of Hungarian decent, and my last name is hard to pronounce for some.
One day the Scoutmaster's son proclaimed, "Mister E, your a mystery", and I've been using it ever since.

Jeremiah 18
The Potter and the Clay
1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying: 2 âArise and go down to the potterâs house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.â 3 Then I went down to the potterâs house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. 4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make.
5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: 6 âO house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?â says the LORD. âLook, as the clay is in the potterâs hand, so are you in My hand... |

mine is my last name, however I am thinking of changing it now that I hear many employers will google search your name before they make hiring decisions. I don't want something I write on a messag board to come back and bite me in the ass one day if I am to apply for a good government job

well, I have a thing for dragons...so that part is easy. But the username is one I've been using forever. It came from a drawing that I did some time ago of a dragon flying in the rain. One of the raindrops was just under the eye and a friend said it looked like a crying dragon...so I kept it. |

The lead role in Larry Shue's comedy, "The Foreigner", a part I played in our local community theater, two years ago when I first became a DPC member. Comically, among the DPC cast of characters, I often feel like Charlie Baker, a welcomed stranger in the strange land of digital photographers. |

Dave calls me Amandalore, (or The Mandalator), other places I use mangos_inc and jyllapidism_izme... I like mangos and I think it's funny when people think I'm a mango corporation or something, and Jyllapidism is a religion I made up and named using some of my favorite alphabet letters. |

Besides being addicted to taking photos and being a computer nerd, I am also a gearhead at heart. My first car (and subject of countless weekend car projects) is a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass 'S'. |
