For the life of me I can't remember the name of the professional photographer that produces images of, for example, shooting crossbows through apples..... very clear, sharp images.
...something like nitsche? anyone know his website?

If you want to do it yourself, check out hughletheren's tutorial on how to build a beam breaker in the tutorials section called A homage to Jacko and Rackat.
I just built the basic beam breaker myself the other day, but I'm not finished because I'm trying to add cross-compatibility to flash units off the same feed jack. |

I cannot find that tutorial? Can someone point me in the right direction to making the beam breaker?
Cheers,
Andrew

Sorry, missed that...
Hugh's not around much lately, but I've been asking my usual horde of dumb questions to the other techies running around here, so a forum search should pull some nearly helpful results if you search 'beam breaker eschelar' or something similar...
I'm still fiddling with the resistances for my flash unit... it doesn't behave properly, so I will probably add a fourth switch. I will take it to a friend in a couple of days to see if there's a way to work with it a bit...
I don't know if you have one or not, but an ADIDT remote controller makes this toy a lot easier to put together as it already has an external controller jack in 2.5mm stereo type.
If I ever get it all together, I'll post my details.
