Is there anyway to remove the glass glare from this shot. It was a very candid shot, and when I took it, I wasnt thinking uh oh, glasses. Can it be fixed? If not I wont be heartbroken, but I would like to try?
Thanks in advance for your help. Tammy

It can be done with skilled use of the clone tool and the healing brush, but I'm not sure I'd WANT to. There's a lot of life in those reflections...

I agree with BM. It adds to the character of the photo.

I agree too. It's a candid shot and as such the reflections add to the candidness of it. You could fix them but it would likely look a little odd because you do expect to find reflections.

Leave it alone. The reflections add something to the photo. I love this.

i think there is nothing you can do. the coning stuff is to complicated
but the next time use a polarizer filter to remove all unwished reflections. it works really good with a filter |

I don't mind the reflections..and I think she is beautiful...you can feel the pride on her face. |

Cloning out reflections on glasses is very hard. Easiest way to get rid of reflections on glasses is to remove the lenses, attack the problem at the source.
Though in this case the reflections do add to the photo, and should be left alone. |

She looks like an amazing woman! And she is beautiful! :)
I worked on it, but...this is the best I could do. If I had another eye to work with, I could fix it. Do you have another side view so I could try to fix the eye? You can see where I am stuck at the eye.

I'd rather you left the reflections in as well... A little highlight or catch on things like this add life ;)

Thank you everyone for your input. I love the photo the way it is, a true reflection of my mammaw. She was at my patio table playing cards with my mom and daughter. It is a very special picture for me. you have reaffirmed what I knew in my heart, but a few had suggested the glare issue. I do have a polarizing filter, but not on that lens. The shot was spur of the moment, and not staged, so I didnt even think about what was on my camera, just wanted to catch the moment .
