I have a remote release for my camera that locks. So I can lock it open and the camera goes snap snap snap snap snap at 3 frames per second until I unlock it. So... I set the scene, lock the remote open then start jumping! Fired off about 200 shots, then dug through them to find a couple where I didn't look stooooopit! lol

200 jumps....WOW. No need to go to the gym today. I have a shutter release too and never thought of using it this way. See, we do learn interesting techniques here. (Sneeks out the door with stolen idea....)

great idea. my shudder release does that too but i didnt actually know why. that would be much better than my usual take a few shots look at the pics take a few more. i almost never end up back in the right spot just like in my SP today. didnt get back in the right spot so there are tripod legs in it and not enough mushrooms. :P

Sounds like fun, but certainly I can't jump like that. Again very nice and creative, you always set the standard higher and higher :P

Ok, I tried downloading GIMP for Windows, and it told me to select a mirror, so I clicked one from Seattle. Then something(?) downloaded and when I try to clikck the icon, all it does is make me select a language, which I've done. There's nothing. Am I missing something or should I download another mirror?

p.s. What's a mirror??

A mirror in not very technical terms is just an address to download the same program. It is used to free some bandwith from the original location.

Maybe try again you computer may have corrupted the file or something. Good luck
