I seem to get higher (meaning fours) scores for the pics I enter that I don't like very much. Because I've decided against doing that in the future, I may find myself on a "brown streak."

I'm almost up to 5.
Mine has nothing to do with school but is full of right angles and rectangles, but I didn't include a compass or protractor, so I guess that's what's causing the demise of my image. UGH |

since the intitial drop to 4.0 at the start of voting, my score has gone as high as 5.7 but seems to always get booted back down to the current 5.550 It is going up, but very slow.
2 steps forward 1 step back.

Didn't the description say to come up with an imaginative way to convey geometry? Come on people... all I'm getting is "nice image but I don't see how it suits the challenge... blah blah blah." I guess I should have brought out my math textbook or compass. It seems lately, that people are so literal.....Grrrrrrrrrrrr

This is an interesting observation. What I see is a disconnect between the textbook learning and geometry in everyday life. Geometry is everywhere, not just a textbook, compass, and chalkboard (yes, chalkboard. They didn't have whiteboards when I took geometry). Maybe the schools need to the kids outside a bit more and show them how to apply what they've learned.

I selected my shot based on the challenge description not the title.
I think a majority of the voters have not read the description and perhaps never do. lol
