Just my thing. I dont vote on challenges I'm participating in. Find it hard to be unbiased with my competition ..... but I'll give you a 10 in spirit. ;-)

Yaay!
I have taken to not voting on challenges that I'm in for that reason, but I find that the free study is different. The photos are so much more varied so it's far easier to judge each one on its merits. |

Anyone willing to help me figure out how to improve this image or let me know why my image got the score it deserved. I am a bit depressed about the photo, and the comments I got give a bit of hint into it but also say its a good overall photo.
I would appreciate the help.

My first look this morning and I have slide down past the sacred 6.000 from an early high of 6.25. Glad they got those freestudies every month:)

| I have been voting all week on this challenge, and either I have been viewing pics too much, or the quality is lacking, but I have been disappointed overall so far. I think if the scores seem a bit low, it is because maybe we just didn't have our shooting shoes on for the month. The lighting is different, too. Days are getting shorter, which sometimes makes it hard to get top notch images. Can't go out past 5:30 anymore around here. Since I don't get home until 6, much of my photo time is gone. Anyone else find that the shorter days are affecting your general photo sense? |

While the days may be getting shorter where you live, for the other half of the world, the days are growing longer:)
I find that this free study entry was completely different than my one last month, but they are both alomst exactly the same score. Kind of interesting. Anyhow, I am happy for those that are doing well. |

Thanks for your comment on my photo, said exactly what I like to hear :D
My pic is hovering around 5.4, with six positive comments. Difficult to see what to improve on to push up higher, really. |

Another reason why I don't like these monthly free studies added on top of everything else. Lack of votes. Although this one has surpassed my ribbon shot which only had 166.

I'm ready for this vote to close too. I was pushing 6.3 a couple of days ago. This is my first 6+. I wouldn't think it would drop much more but I'm nervous :-)
