- Save us all the agony. Put your camera in a box and mail it to me. Then take up something simple, like rock collecting.

-You were drinking, weren't you?

-What part of RUBBER ducky don't you understand?

- Thank you, you just proved that Dawin was right, and some of us DO evolve more than others.

-You're supposed to look through the little piece of glass in the back, not the big piece in the front.

-I feel dumber for having seen that.

Ah, yes... now here is an image that I would highly recommend that everyone take a moment to think carefully about giving it a high vote.

(think about it!)

Two words: Recycle Bin - please learn when to use it.

Clothing should be mandantory - even Viagra® isn't helping on this one.

Cell phone picture?

Please spend a few bucks, buy Joey's DVD and learn to do it right!

a picture may be worth a thousand words, unfortunately there aren't enough variations on the word crap to cover this photo.

"Most images we see do not contribute anything of value. Quite a few only add more of the same, redundantly and ad nauseam. I have learnt to live with this.

There are images, however, which exploit the liberties we enjoy and grant each other to no purpose but an, apparently, unpremeditated indulgence in that which is base and contra naturam. When a photograph leaves us with no more than its consumption, we cannot appreciate anything. We are merely brought down by it and reduced to lower impulses. We are robbed of everything anyone could be proud of. They are, the way I see it, an offense to civilized life.

What offends me most is that such obscenities are usually clad in a slick or pretty dress, relating some notion of nicety and, even, technical quality. It offends me, because I feel I'm being deceived for no other purpose but to line someone's pockets or, worse, that I am propositioned to engage in an act of corruption (of values) or abuse (of a person or persons).

Conversely, there are also pictures, which offend quite differently. These are works which commote a particular prejudice, injustice or false sentiment for the purpose of either instigating a stance against it or for merely revealing it. Curiously, photos like this appear rarely slick or showy, indicating that there are temples

which are not for sale."

There you have it. people.

- Not sure about being macro or not, but you got the abstract right whether you intended to or not.

- Did you even try to focus your shot?

- Wow, you must have special eyes that see things in a way no one else can. I've never seen a landscpae with those colors in the real world. Maybe it's just my lack of specialized color rod cells.

My meanest comment I have thought, but never would leave: this just plain sucks. Stop already!

You people should all feel ashamed of yourselves for thinking such nasty thoughts about your fellow DPC'ers photographic efforts.

Bad people!

Bad bad people!

- It sucks!
- What a waste of time looking at this image.
- Do you see any "Woody" in your picture?
- Please go back and read the challenge description.
- Are you illeterate?

I've left comments longer than this in shorter heads, nice, polite and constructive ones, only to receive responses like "If you dont like my picture, why don't you look elsewhere?". I did and comment less now.

It it just me, or does anyone else think we should have a Thick-Skinned Challenge, where comments like these can be given and submitters agree not to take offense?

Sad isn't it.
I'd be honored to receive a comment that moved someone enough to spend that much time and thought on, be it positive or negative, or a combination of both.
