They're both nice, but seem to lack punch. Either could have been a ribbon contender IMO with some good Photoshopping.

I prefer the outtake, but I was looking for images that really took the landscapre orientation and made it a compelling element of the photo. I think your outtake does a better job of that and the image is just as strong as your entry, IMHO.
